December evening, a bowl of mandarins on the table. The first peel breaks open — bright, sweet, a little tart, with bergamot and a touch of dark chocolate. Then it softens into amber, lavender and lily, with the honeyed warmth of guaiac wood. Underneath, sandalwood, vanilla and soft musk, a trace of moss and caramel.
Top notes: chocolate, orange, bergamot, mandarin
Heart notes: amber, lavender, lily, guaiac wood
Base notes: musk, vanilla, sandalwood, moss, caramel
A candle for the long evenings before the holidays. Citrus brightness against the dark outside, and the quiet of a house where nothing needs to happen.
Hand-poured in small batches from a blend of natural waxes, no paraffin. 260 grams, around 50 hours of burn time.
